Four engineering graduates held for hi-tech copying with Buetooth pens

HYDERABAD: Police arrested four engineering students involved in hi-tech copying during supplementary exams being held at MGIT on Wednesday. Narsingi police arrested Syed Abdul Kabeer, Khaza Moinuddin of Shadan College of Engineering and Technology in Peeramcheruvu, and their friends Syed Altaf Ahmed from SR Nagar and Murtuza from Dabeelpur in Saidabad.

Kabeer, a B Tech (IT) student, and Moinuddin, a B Tech (Computer Science) student, were batchmates at Shadan College. They were supposed to finish graduation in 2013, but due to backlogs, they could not achieve it. On Wednesday, the duo appeared for supplementary exams being held at MGIT in Narsingi.

Both the students sitting in different rooms were using Bluetooth-enabled pen connected with micro earphones, which they had concealed deftly in the ear canal and the cellphone hidden in their underwear. They were reading out questions to their helpers Murtuza and Altaf using the Bluetooth pen and receiving answers read out by the helpers through
